Police fire water cannons and tear gas on protest

The Police fired water cannons and tear gas on a protest staged by Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) students at Lotus Road today.The students had staged a protest march and gathered at Lotus Road where they were prevented from proceeding further. The Police then fired water cannons and tear gas to disperse the protest.
