Ohio Ag Weather and Forecast, March 12, 2019

first_imgShare Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest High pressure moves over the state today and will yield good sunshine all day long!  Temperatures today will be mostly near normal, and will even climb a bit late in the day as south winds start to really kick in.Tomorrow clouds will be on the increase, and we wont rule out a few scattered showers developing in the NW part of the state. The southern half of the state may be able to stay partly sunny through the entire day, but even with clouds around most of Ohio does not see precipitation through the day tomorrow. Overnight tomorrow night rain potential picks up, and we see a fairly wet 24-30 hour period from there through Friday morning  Rain will be moderate to heavy in spots and we also will not rule out a few afternoon and night time thunderstorms Thursday night. Rain totals for the 2 day period will be from .4”-1.4” with coverage at 90% of the state. See the map at right. Thunderstorms should be limited mostly to the southern half of the state, but we won’t completely rule out a little action farther north. Mild temps will be seen tomorrow as we move into the 50s and 60s, and on Thursday, we would not be surprised at a move to highs near 70! All of that temperature move comes on strong south flow.Friday early morning we should be done with precipitation, and clouds will give way to some sun. Temps are likely to start to moving back just a bit. WE still think we will see temps in the 50s and 60s, before we revert back to normal over the weekend. Saturday can feature a few more clouds and perhaps a few spits and sprinkles or even flurries in the morning, but that will be very limited, and moisture only ends up with around 25% coverage.Beautiful, dry, sunny weather arrives on Sunday with high pressure dominating. The dry pattern holds all the way through next week into the start of the 11-16 day period next Friday. Temperatures will be near normal through the period. Unfortunately, we can’t keep that pattern going for the balance of the extended window.Scattered showers are back starting Saturday the 23rd, a day that starts with sun, but sees clouds quickly move int .The showers for Saturday will be mostly from I-70 north by sunset, and can bring up to .3″. On Sunday , we see showers from US 30 north can bring up to another .3″, and then morning showers on Monday the 21st bring up to another .3″ from US 30 north. This time, though, by late in the day, we see that rain spreading south. Rain continues Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 25th through 27th  statewide. Combined rain totals for the entire 5 day period will be 1 to 3 inches from US 30 north, and 1-2 inches from US 30 south. Rain coverage will be 100%.last_img read more

Saturated fats are solid at room temperature, including butter, red meat, whole milk cheese, and coconut oil. A diet high in saturated fat tends to raise the “bad” LDL cholesterol, which can cause blockages in your arteries.1 Foods that are high in mono and polyunsaturated fats include, olive oil, canola oil, avocados, nuts, salmon, and mackerel. A diet high in mono and polyunsaturated fats can help reduce the harmful LDL cholesterol and lowers triglycerides.1 These healthy fats can also treat heart disease and stroke.
