Michael Cooney made his comments as the division has had to nominate a representative to take part in this weekend’s County U21 hurling championship semi-finals because their own competition hasn’t been completed yet.In a further twist to the story Carrick Swans are set to go straight through to the county decider as there won’t be a team from the North in the last four.The latter division are playing their semi-finals on Sunday and have decided not to nominate any of the remaining clubs to compete in the county competition.last_img
