Yahoo DFS Picks Week 17: Daily fantasy football lineup advice for GPP tournaments
Many fantasy football leagues are over by Week 17, but that just means it’s the perfect time to play some NFL DFS. We have advice and lineup picks for Yahoo daily fantasy football GPP tournaments here for you. It starts with a three-headed Eagles stack in a favorable matchup with the Giants, and we also found a way to fit both Michael Thomas and A.J. Brown in for some big upside.Week 16 was a very lopsided week for our GPP Yahoo lineup. Patrick Mahomes, Saquon Barkley and Julio Jones all delivered the big games we’d expect from them. The problem was that none of our other offensive players were in double-digits. Greg Ward, Tyreek Hill and Jacob Hollister all got close, but we really needed to nail our sleepers a bit better to match up with the great games from our studs. WEEK 17 NON-PPR RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | KickerNFL DFS Week 17: Yahoo GPP Lineup PicksQB Carson Wentz, Eagles @ Giants ($30). The Giants just made Washington rookie Dwayne Haskins look really good, so it seems like a safe bet that Wentz should have no trouble moving the ball through the air against New York’s secondary.WEEK 17 DFS:DK Cash | DK GPP | FD Cash | ValuesRB Damien Williams, Chiefs vs. Chargers ($15). Williams’ pricing wasn’t adjusted for his hefty role in a return on Sunday Night Football. He should see double-digit touches in an explosive offense once again in Week 17.RB Justice Hill, Ravens vs. Steelers ($10). With Mark Ingram (calf) hurting and the Ravens locked in to the AFC’s top seed, expect the rookie Hill to see solid usage in Week 17, both on the ground and through the air.MORE: Which players are sitting out Week 17?WR Michael Thomas, Saints @ Panthers ($39). The Saints have seeding still to play for and could try and push Thomas’ single-season receptions record into untouchable territory.WR A.J. Brown, Titans @ Texans ($23). Brown looks like one of the most talented young WRs in football, and he’s a big play waiting to happen. That bodes well against a Houston secondary that’s been burned a lot this season.WR Greg Ward Jr., Eagles @ Giants ($16). Assuming Nelson Agholor (knee) is out, Ward should be the best WR Wentz has, and he’s shown an ability to make plays both on short and longer routes since taking on a bigger role.WEEK 17 PPR RANKINGS:Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end TE Dallas Goedert, Eagles @ Giants ($18). Coming off a career day might lead Goedert to be a popular fade, but we’ll dive right in. There’s no reason for the Eagles not to continue his large involvement when you consider how many WRs they simply don’t have at their disposal.FLEX Nick Chubb, Browns @ Bengals ($31). The Browns don’t have a lot to play for, and Chubb has been one of their few bright spots this season, so expect him to get a heavy dosage of work to try and top off a good season on a high note.D/ST New Orleans Saints @ Panthers ($17). Will Grier looked like a deer in headlights in Week 16. He was so bad that even Christian McCaffrey couldn’t save him. The Saints could turn out to be a bargain at this price.
