Governor visits VicePresident residence

first_imgNellore: Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhusan Harichandan visited the city for participating in the convocation of the Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) on Sunday along with the Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu and returned to Vijayawada due to the cancellation of the programme. He landed at Police Parade Grounds in Nellore at 11.50 am where Industries Minister M Goutham Reddy, IG Vineet Brijlal, Collector MV Seshagiri Babu, SP Rastogi, Vice-Chancellor of VSU Prof R Sudarsana Rao and others welcomed him. He reached R&B Guest House where Tirupati MP B Durgaprasada Rao, former Minister Dr Kamineni Srinivas, and others met him formally. The Governor formally visited the residence of the Vice-President in city and interacted with M Usha, wife of Venkaiah and his daughter Deepa. He had lunch in Venkaiah’s residence along with the senior officials and left for Vijayawada.last_img
